Woolen Blankets and Tapestries made of Local Tuscan Wool

		Rural Factory has presented its first printed 100% pure new wool  textile collection. The wool comes from a km 0 Tuscany (Italy) production. We created blakets, wall hangings, sofa covers… The collection is availabe in our Wall Hanging Shop!

Rural Factory design collection will be exposed on Sunday, the 10th of November in LUNGOUNGIORNO exhibition, in Florence, at Spazio Sam, Via Giano della Bella.
The collections will feature  km 0 production woolen blankets made with Tuscan wool, hand screenprinted home textiles and stencils for DIY.

Stenciling on Juta with Pinocchio Stencil to Create Original Breakfast Placemats

We had fun creating these placemats using Pinocchio stencil on a juta canvas…We choosed both to use many colors, painting Pinocchio in green and brown, with yellow spots, and to stencil in one color alternating blue and red on the same placemat. Handmade Woolen Blankets with Extra Large Stencil in Bordeaux and Cyan

This is a bespoke realization of woolen blankets using a maxi stencil from Stencil Damask #2. The decoration of each blanket is about 130x130 cm. Look for more textile special projects!

Woolen Blanket from a White Wool Fabric with an Extra Large Stencil!

This unique woolen blanket has been hand screenprinted using a stencil design from Rural Factory’s Damask Collection, Stencil Damask #3. The drawing has been enlarged 4,5 times to obtain an extra large stencil of about 120x120 cm, that has been hand cut and then used as a traditional stencil.Take a look at our bespoke textile realizations or ask us for a new project!

Damask Stencil on Wool Textile: how to renew and old Woolen Blanket

This woolen blanket has been made using Stencil Damask #2 on an old piece of white wool textile. We used acrylic colors, choosing a green. We’re proud of the shabby chic effect obtained! This is a great way to recycle old tissues and textiles: try stenciling before trashing!

How to Use Stencil on textiles: the Two Colors Stenciled tablecloth with Rural Factory Azulejos Stencils

This tablecloth in two colors was made using Stencil Azulejo #2 to print a cotton tissue. The effect has been obtained by covering some parts with tape to make the first light blue printing, and then printing with the second darker color, covering stencil parts already used.
